Located adjacent to Hong Kong International Airport, 11 SKIES is a landmark retail, dining, and entertainment destination that redefines the region’s civic and commercial landscape. To articulate its layered geometric facade, LUCITAG integrated 1,486 meters of Pixel Flex Milky Slim Top Bend (3000K / DMX) linear engines directly within the building’s specialized structural recesses. The flexible top-bending design enables the system to follow the complex triangular, origami-like panels and sharply angled fins that define the architecture, maintaining continuous lines of light across the facade without visual interruption.
Operating through DMX control, the 1,486-meter lighting network acts as an architectural line of light, emphasizing the building’s sweeping forms and geometric composition. The warm 3000K color temperature delivers soft, glare-controlled illumination that highlights the metallic facade textures while creating a refined interplay of light and shadow. Concealed integration within the architectural details ensures that the luminaires remain invisible, allowing uninterrupted ribbons of warm light to define the building after dark and reinforce its monumental presence within the skyline.
