The penthouse is conceived as a continuous architectural envelope where interior space and exterior views are visually interconnected. LUCITAG supplied an integrated architectural LED lighting system developed to preserve this gallery-like spatial clarity while subtly reinforcing transitions between structure, material, and landscape.
A primary lighting layer is established through concealed linear systems integrated within organic ceiling recesses and perimeter coves. Strip FLEX MILKY SLIM TOP BENDED fixtures are precisely installed within custom-detailed plaster transitions, producing a continuous, dot-free ambient glow that softens ceiling geometry and enhances perceived spatial volume. This indirect illumination acts as a spatial stabilizer, reinforcing architectural flow while maintaining a glare-free environment across dining, living, and terrace zones.
A secondary layer of controlled point-source lighting is introduced through ARCHI DOWNLIGHT 68 fixtures, deployed across circulation paths, living spaces, and covered exterior terraces. Deep-regressed and carefully positioned, these luminaires provide directional precision to accentuate material textures such as timber surfaces and feature walls while maintaining strict visual concealment. The combination of concealed linear ambient lighting and restrained downlighting establishes a unified residential lighting composition defined by clarity, calmness, and architectural restraint, balancing interior intimacy with the expansive Shenzhen skyline beyond.
