Situated within one of Hong Kong’s premier financial landmarks, this high-end corporate executive suite at Cheung Kong Center II embodies a hyper-minimalist, futuristic design language. Defined by sharp geometric glass partitions and a highly reflective corporate aesthetic, the spatial design required a radical departure from traditional office downlighting. LUCITAG delivered an integrated, dual-surface luminous matrix engineered to challenge standard spatial boundaries. The core design intent was to use perfectly uniform, expansive planes of light to dissolve the conventional floor and ceiling boundaries, creating an immersive, weightless environmental capsule that emphasizes spatial clarity and absolute visual precision.
To achieve this seamless enveloping effect across the lower plane, the project utilizes the LUCITAG PIXEL BOARD series in a custom Monochromatic Pure White configuration. A total of 1,172 units of these high-density LED matrix modules were engineered directly beneath the specialized glass floor tiles. This dense layout guarantees a perfectly diffuse, dot-free luminous floor surface that emits a soft, shadowless upward glow. The uniform illumination eliminates heavy shadows underneath the central conference table, elevating the furniture layout into a striking spatial floating centerpiece.
Complementing this ground-plane integration, the matching upper overhead canopy features a dynamic, programmable layer powered by LUCITAG PIXEL BOARD (RGBW). A specification of 264 units of these smart architectural boards was integrated behind a stretched membrane ceiling system to frame the central executive zone. This allows the corporate space to transition effortlessly from a crisp, high-performance pure white ambient environment during high-stakes board meetings to subtle, calibrated chromatic gradients or brand-specific tonal backdrops for evening functions. Bound by recessed linear framing tracks along the base of the structural glass walls, the entire installation stands as a masterclass in clean, digitally controlled architectural geometry.
