To complement its sleek, monochromatic interiors, LUCITAG engineered a highly tailored, optic-driven lighting scheme that transforms standard transition pathways into immersive spatial experiences.
The architectural identity of the Hong Art Museum in Wenzhou balances minimalist geometry with spatial immersion, relying on a clean, perspective-driven layout where light functions as a structural element. In the interior corridor, LUCITAG Strip Flex Optic slim dual bended (Mono / Pure White) modules are integrated directly into recessed channels tracking the vertical wall partitions. The advanced dual-bending capability of the flexible chassis allows the linear engines to seamlessly transition around the corners of each portal frame without a break in visual output. This precise, optic-driven application casts a uniform band of pure white light along the perimeter lines, crisply defining the borders of the structural openings to emphasize depth and guide visitors through the galleries.
Complementing this continuous framing, a rhythmic sequence of LUCITAG Wash Round Blade Plus (Mono / Pure White) fixtures is installed in a centered linear array along the ceiling spine. Positioned at regular intervals between each architectural portal, these luminaires utilize specialized blade optics to project highly focused, geometric slices of light across the vertical and horizontal planes. Rather than creating standard circular pools of light, the crisp white beams interact with the floor and ceiling lines to trace sharp accents down the walls, mirroring the corridor's linear geometry.
