The West Kowloon Cultural District Office features contemporary workplace architecture that pairs exposed fair-faced concrete partitions with a linear timber ceiling. LUCITAG supplied a linear lighting solution using the GRAZE SMART COVE OUTDOOR system in a mono pure white configuration for the main transition and reception zones. Within the lift lobby and reception breakout spaces, the fixtures are installed inside a continuous concealed pocket running parallel to the wood baffle ceiling plane. Utilizing a controlled linear lens layout, the system projects a uniform grazing gradient directly down the vertical surfaces to articulate the natural texture and casting lines of the concrete wall cladding. The mono pure white output maintains color consistency across the neutral substrate, while the precise optical cut-off prevents light spill into the timber ceiling and eliminates direct glare for occupants in the lounge seating below.
